We have found that many real estate agents are too disconnected from a client's financial realities and that many loan officers are disconnected from their underlying personal goals. The left and right hands aren't working in concert for the client and this creates less than optimal results.
Hybrid Agents are fully aware and competent to handle the client's overarching real estate goals in a way that matches their budget. We understand the tradeoffs of different approaches to the loan structure and what that means for buying or selling real estate. This has special power for buyers because we are often able to rebate part of the real estate commission to give the client a lower rate or lower costs (except on FHA loans). But it also works well for sellers because we can better evaluate the asset being sold and the qualifications of prospective buyers.
Some people have raised the concern that a Hybrid Agent approach leads to a "jack-of-all-trades but master of none" dynamic. This is a thoughtful issue to raise, but we believe it is wildly overstated. Having a 360-degree view of the transaction helps us respond more quickly and thoroughly to issues that arise. We utilize deep support teams on both the real estate and loan sides of the transaction to make sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed. We are not rogue agents doing everything on our own, we are experts who direct a team give clients the best possible result.
