Consumers have three basic options when looking to secure a mortgage:

Traditional Brick & Mortar Bank: These are the big name banks that have a national presence. They do everything from savings accounts to commercial lending. Mortgages are part of what they offer, but it is not their single focus and their rates and service are often a function of how other parts of their banking business is performing.

Non-Depository Mortgage Banks: Some mortgage lenders lend their own money, but do not offer traditional banking products like checking accounts. They strictly focus on mortgages but only offer what they have available in-house. Their loan agents are captive to their offerings, pricing, and operations.

Mortgage Broker: This is our groove. As a mortgage broker, we have relationships with many different mortgage lenders and banks. We shop those investors to place your scenario in the most competitive position for rate, service, and time.
